3D Hedgehog by Imago – Hedgehogs are primarily nocturnal, and omnivorous, they are fairly vocal and communicate through a combination of grunts, snuffles and/or squeals which you may have heard late at night in the garden. The name hedgehog came into use around the year 1450, its other name include urchin, hedgepig and furze-pig. Derived from the Middle English heyghoge, from heyg, hegge (“hedge”), because it frequents hedgerows, and hoge, hogge (“hog”), from its pig-like snout.
The brand Imago has an increasing popularity on archery courses across the UK & Europe. The detailed modelling of the targets is the result of the modellers skills – who are all Fine Arts graduates – consulting videos and photographs of the animals to be modelled before starting the work, to produce 3D targets who’s poise is natural and give the target a sense of mobility.
Since targets are bought to “break them,” the material the targets are made from led Imago to invest hundreds of hours in penetration, density and durability tests to offer a product with the best combination of those properties, in combination with ease of arrow extraction. The 3D Hedgehog by Imago offers excellent value for money.
