  1. I received my Desert Hunter (35#) six weeks ago. I was very impressed by the visual appearance of the bow and as soon as I could I set it up to shoot. I was immediately impressed by the performance of the bow as I found it compared very favourably to my Mohawk and my Mohawk Hunter. I feel the addition of the stability core has given the Desert Hunter the advantage over the original model Bodik bows that I own. It was a very quick process to find the sweet spot which for me is 7.55″ . I have used string silencers but that is just a personal thing, I like a quiet now although with the Desert Hunter this is not neccessary. I have shot it a lot and used it recently at Muscovy Archers “Cornish Crown” where it performed admirably. I can highly recommend this bow, it’s good looks and sturdy build quality are perfectly matched to its outstanding performance.
