Shire Archery Returns Policy.

Returns Policy: Shire Archery aims to always provide high quality Goods that are fault free and undamaged. We individually check all items prior to dispatch and, whilst we hope you never have to return an item to us, if something is wrong we will always do our best to make amends as soon as possible.

If you are not totally satisfied with your order or the Goods upon arrival, you have a statutory right to a “cooling off” period up to 28 days. That is 14 days to cancel and 14 days after cancellation to return. This period begins once your order is complete and ends 14 days after the Goods have been delivered. If you change your mind about the goods within this period, please return them to us within 14 days of such notice.

We will gladly exchange your item/s or refund upon receipt of the returned Goods. Goods can only be returned for this reason if their packaging remains undamaged and the Goods can be re-sold, as new, without any additional work on our part. The refund is for the goods and original delivery charge. If you chose faster delivery you only get the basic cost back.

You are responsible for paying shipment costs if Goods are returned for this reason. You are not entitled to the cost of sending the goods back and Shire Archery is not responsible for organising the return. Shire Archery is only responsible for the cost if goods are faulty, then you are then entitled to reasonable costs of returns.

Under the United Kingdom’s Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item within 14 days of delivery unless personalised/custom made. You should be aware that, once we begin the making process you will not be able to cancel any contract you have with us for any services carried out by us for example: making arrows and bow strings, service work, custom leather work, enhanced postage & packing etc.

Where the Goods are custom made to the order of the Customer, the Customer shall not be entitled to return the Goods and receive a refund unless the Goods are faulty.

Under the Returns Policy we regret that we cannot accept cancellations of contracts/return of goods that have been left open, used, enjoyed, ill kept and liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, tampered with, installed, packaging defaced or are in a non resell-able condition as new.

Return the Goods unused and undamaged with a copy of your invoice receipt, a note included with the Goods telling us why you are returning it is helpful for us to resolve the issue, especially if you are returning the item for a different size etc. Please use `proof of postage` when returning items as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in the post and then we can not help you, nor be held to refund any part of the transaction.

The statutory rights of the Customer are unaffected.

Used Items?

Shire Archery reserves the right to exercise discretion with respect to any returns under the Returns Policy above.

An item that is removed from its packaging for examination is OK to return to Shire Archery along with the original packaging under our Returns Policy above. However, if the product has been fitted to a bow or made use of, then this becomes a used item and cannot be resold as new if returned. For this reason we can’t offer a refund on used items which are not defective.

Defective/Faulty Items.

If any Goods you have purchased have faults when they are delivered to you, you should contact us as soon as possible to arrange the return. Shire Archery is responsible for paying reasonable shipment costs.

Any defects in the items which under proper use appear within a reasonable period after delivery and which are due to faulty materials, workmanship or design will be replaced by Shire Archery either by repair or – at the discretion solely of Shire Archery- by replacement or refund. If a product is found to be faulty due to a defect, this is normally covered by the manufacturer’s own warranty. All products which become defective after use MUST be returned for evaluation prior to any agreement to refund, replacement or repair of the item. Goods must be returned in their original condition with all packaging and documentation. In order to process any claim as quickly as possible, please always include a copy of the original invoice receipt after contacting us.

Damaged in transit.

If Goods are damaged in transit and the damage is apparent on delivery, you should sign any delivery note to the effect that the goods have been damaged. In any event, you should report such damage to Shire Archery within 14 days and arrange the return. Shire Archery is responsible for paying shipment costs. Upon receipt of the returned Goods, the price of the Goods, as paid by you, will be refunded to you.
