A 100 meter bobbin of 100% real red silk thread, it is a natural product, brilliant for whipping arrows, especially those of later historical nature such as Tudor; an interesting foot note records Henry V ordering silk prior to the Agincourt campaign, weather it was red silk thread is left history.
The earliest example of silk fabric is from 3630 BC in China, silk production was certainly underway way by 2570 BC and in India between 2450 BC and 2000 BC. Production in Europe however did not start until the 11th & 12th Century AD with attempts dotting the pages of European History thereafter.
