The Knights Joust is a cast resin reproduction of the beautifully carved misericord found within the choir stalls of Gloucester Cathedral. This carving is Victorian in age and a copy of the medieval carving found in Worcester Cathedral, also in our range. It is not an absolutely precise copy, the Craftsmen put their own touches and flare to the work, there are many similarities to the original from the expression on the face of the loosing Knight to the regalia of man and horse. The original is the oldest depiction of English Knights jousting, it was clearly valued and appreciated as true heritage back in the Victorian era to be copied in such a way. This is a true masterpiece of English heritage and craftsmanship. Designed to display upon a wall this makes a magnificent focal point.
